New job!

I posted this over at my personal blog, but I wanted this to appear on the front page of trusty ol’ Student PR as well: today was my first day at Porter Novelli as a consultant. It’s an exciting opportunity, and I’m excited for the new challenges that lie ahead for me as a consultant.

And as I always say, Student PR will have its archives restored as soon as possible, or more specifically, as soon as my friend John Wiseman finds some time to take my business.

If you’re a reader of Student PR, let me first say thank you. You might be surprised to find that the content of this blog post is originating from my personal blog, Clarkeblog. The reason? Trusty old Student PR has been having some technical trouble that I can’t keep up with, so I’ve more or less decided to simply start blogging over at my personal blog instead.

Should I ever be able to get Student PR back up and running, it will not be updated regularly, but instead remain a historical archive. What does that mean? If you’re a subscriber to Student PR, you will continue to receive updates from Clarkeblog for the time being. If the contents of my personal blog doesn’t interest you (it won’t always be about PR) then feel free to unsubscribe. If you like what you see over at Clarkeblog and would like to subscribe, visit http://feeds.feedburner.com/chrisclarke.

My email still works - chris@studentpr.com - drop me a line, perhaps if you’re unsubscribing to say ‘goodbye’, or have tech tips on how to restore Student PR.

Thanks to everyone for reading and following along!

Student PR is experiencing it’s usual technical difficulties. I’m working to get them resolved. Thanks for your patience!
